I am a qualified and experienced secondary school teacher in English, History and Classical Studies with 8 years of classroom teaching experience. During my teaching career, I have worked with students across a range of abilities and have extensive experience preparing students for examinations and helping them develop confidence in their academic work.

I have experience teaching both Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate, as well as international curricula in Dubai, including the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). I have also gained valuable experience correcting Junior Cycle English State Examinations, giving me a strong understanding of examination standards, marking schemes and what students need to demonstrate to achieve higher grades.

My approach to private tuition is friendly, structured and focused on the individual student. I aim to identify areas for improvement, build confidence and develop practical exam and study strategies that students can apply independently. I have helped students improve their grades through targeted feedback, exam preparation and focused support with written work.
