My name is Shane Curran. I am a Wood Technology and Graphics teacher from Kilkenny. I have 3 years experience teaching leaving certificate and junior certificate Woodwork and Graphics to both boys and girls.

I have brought students through various different projects in both DCG, Construction Studies and Wood Technology, many of whom scoring high marks I am a very positive, friendly and encouraging teacher. I have also gained experience from teaching in Melbourne, Australia over the past year.

My approach to private tuition is very student centred, working off the students skill sets and needs for the subjects. I have given grinds to Junior and Leaving cert students in the past helping them understand topics and improve their drafting, designing and critical thinking skills.

My hourly rate is 35 euro/hr.
