I am an English teacher with six years teaching experience in Ireland, I also previously taught in the UAE for two years, in an international school. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Professional Masters in Education from Maynooth University, where I achieved a 1:1 grade .
I have tutored a number of students from all year groups in secondary school over the last five of years. Recently, I helped two leaving cert student achieve a H1 and another move up from a H5 in his mocks to a H2 in the final exam in June.
I use a variety of notes, sample answers and exam techniques to help students improve their marks. I cover all aspects both junior and senior cycle courses such as comparative, single text, poetry and composition. Online tuition will be interactive and include slides, videos and modelling of answers. I focus on improving students syntax, vocabulary, and overall approach to exam papers. I charge 35 euro per hour.
