Hello, my name is Kealy Power! I am a Science and Biology teacher. I graduated from UCC. I am currently doing a post grad in education.

I have corrected for the State Exams Commission, both for JC Science and HL Biology, so have a good knowledge of the curriculum but also what is needed in the exam to gain the maximum marks. I have completed online and in person grinds for the past 4 years.

I will provide students with notes and diagrams, and each of these will be thoroughly explained. PowerPoints and extra resources will also be used to help the student. The student will be given an exam question each week to ensure understanding of the grind which will be corrected according to the marking scheme and given back to the student each week.

If the student would like, a test can be given every 6/8 weeks to gain practice and measure progress and gaps in their knowledge.

In my school teaching I have had students receive Distinctions (JC) and H1s (LC).

In Private tuition, students have progressed from failing their pre-exams to achieving a H3.
