Dia dhaoibh! Is mise Emer, a secondary school Irish teacher with a Master’s in Education through Irish. I have experience teaching in both Irish- and English-medium schools.
I was recently inspected while teaching in the Gaeltacht and received the highest possible mark, and I achieved a 1:1 in my teaching placement.
Although I didn’t grow up speaking Irish, I developed a deep passion for the language and now speak it every day with my nearest and dearest. Creativity and inclusivity are at the core of my teaching, and I strive to inspire ‘Grá’ for the Irish language in all of my students
