Hi, I’m Damian, a fully qualified English teacher with over 10 years of classroom and tutoring experience. I hold a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching and a Master’s in Education. I have extensive experience teaching both Junior and Senior Cycle English, including Higher Level English for the Leaving Certificate, and currently work in a high-achieving school where results are consistently well above the national average.

Many of my students have achieved H1s, and I specialise in helping high-performing students refine their exam technique and polish their writing. Just as importantly, I’ve worked closely with students who find English more difficult, helping to make the course more accessible and ensuring they can continue studying at Higher Level with greater confidence and understanding.

My approach is student-focused, encouraging, and adaptable. I create a positive, structured learning environment where students feel supported and comfortable enough to engage fully and improve week by week. All resources are tailored to suit each learner’s goals, needs, and learning style.
