Hi I'm Alan, I am a fully qualified secondary school Maths teacher with a strong passion for helping students develop their confidence and ability in Mathematics. I have been teaching and providing private tuition for over six years, working with students across both the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate programmes, in person and online.

I currently teach Maths at secondary school level and have experience working with students of a wide range of abilities. I have supported students who are struggling with particular topics and looking to build their confidence, as well as high-achieving students aiming for H1 results in Higher Level Leaving Certificate Maths.

My approach to private tuition is tailored to each individual student. I focus on identifying gaps in understanding, explaining difficult concepts in a clear and accessible way, and developing strong problem-solving and exam techniques. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

My current rate is €45 per hour for one-to-one tuition.
