Hello, my name is Aisling Owens, and I have been working as an Irish and German teacher for the past four years. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Irish and German from DCU. I have experience teaching all levels and abilities of Junior Cycle and Senior Cycle students, as well as primary school children.

As a fluent Irish speaker, I offer tuition through both Irish and English. I take a student-centred approach, focusing on understanding individual challenges and tailoring lessons to suit each learner’s ability and style.

My teaching style is student-led, with a strong focus on clarity, confidence and exam technique. Lessons are structured but flexible, allowing time to revisit difficult topics, practise exam-style questions, and track progress over time. I help students understand what examiners are looking for and support them in developing the skills needed to perform well in exams. I aim to create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and motivated to improve.

Grinds are offered online for €35 an hour.
